welcome to the Aston Clinton School website

Welcome to Our

Language Development Department

Our Language Development Department, which is unique to Aston Clinton School, enables children who have speech, communication and language difficulties (SCLD) and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN) to receive therapy within a mainstream school setting.

The department is managed by Mrs Page who has overall responsibility for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Inclusion.

We are fortunate that we also have a team of Speech and Language Therapists working here on a peripatetic basis.

In addition to language therapy, the department is also a comfortable, therapeutic and peaceful setting for our experienced team of Teaching Assistants to work with small groups of children to help develop their listening and social skills.

Click here for more information on SEN and to read our SEN policy.
